Depending on the service that you select, this can encompass guidance through the following:

If your package includes me being present at your birth, you will receive my on-call status for 4 weeks of your choice – usually from 38 weeks of pregnancy. This is where I restrict my personal movement to near my home during this period, so as to be fully available for your call. I tend to you in the night, day, afternoon, whenever you need me in labour, and even early ‘longer’ pre-labour care if you need it. If you haven’t laboured by the time the 4 weeks is up, then I remain working for you until you have birthed.

POSTPARTUM CARE

I come to visit you at least twice following birth, which focuses heavily on ensuring that you are comfortable with feeding your baby.

I also make sure that you are comfortable with wearing your baby in a sling or carrier, and can even spend these visits doing this myself whilst you rest and I complete some chores for you. We can discuss if further Postpartum Doula support is required and how booking for this works.
